Cody MTC welcome all enthusiatic performers, whatever your experience, to join in our productions. If you are new to the Company then some pointers for auditions are given below, and for further details of membership click here:
Rehearsals for each new production start almost immediately after the previous show. Therefore if you are interested in joining the society as a performing member then the best time to consider this is at that time, please contact our secretaries for further details:
We conduct open auditions for anyone, member or not, for most principal parts for each production. Take a look at our future productions page for cast lists, specific audition information will be updated on this page nearer the time.
These auditions will usually take place at our normal rehearsal venue on a Sunday afternoon, 2-3 weeks after the previous production, with a read-through for auditionees on a Tuesday or Thursday prior to the audition day. Again please check for times and audition material here, or contact our secretaries.
We generally have vacancies for any new member looking to ‘tread the boards’ for either non-auditioned minor principle parts, chorus and/or dancers. We have a very good reputation for the quality of our productions in terms of both our singing and how we put the whole show on, so we do have auditions for new members, but welcome all talent, experienced, or ‘yet to be moulded’… we look to create high quality entertainment in a fun and stimulating atmosphere. (For insurance purposes the minimum age is 17 at the time of the show, except where the production requires younger members).
